“The dust is your life going on.”

19 September 2007

“Why?”, says Piotr, “Why so soon — so suddenly?”

“Everything is so fragile,” Kitty responds. “Everything is so fragile. There’s so much conflict, so much pain…you keep waiting for the dust to settle and then you realize this is it; the dust is your life going on.”

“If happy comes along– that weird, unbearable delight that’s actual happy– I think you have to grab it while you can. You take what you can get, ’cause it’s here and then…”

I like this one. I’m kind of in a dust storm emotionally right now, so I’m just waiting for it to lighten up. I’ve actually thought about you several times while I’ve been having these blues, because I know you’ve gone through them yourself to many times. I keep thinking that you got through them, so one more time, I can do it too.
    Massive hugs.
